Trading & Gifting Guide

Trading lets you swap Champions with other players, while gifting shares currency. Here is how both systems work and how to trade safely.

How trading works

Trading in Anime Fighting Simulator centers on Champions. To start a trade, open the Champions menu from the green-person icon and use the Trade button in the top-left corner to send a request to another player. Once both players accept, you each place items into the trade window and confirm. Champions you have locked are protected from accidental selling, but you can still choose to trade them deliberately — so double-check what you are offering.

Before confirming any trade, carefully read both sides of the window. The most common scams rely on last-second swaps or rushing you to accept. There is never a reason to hurry; take your time and verify.

How gifting works

Gifting is separate from trading and uses Robux. In the Store, when you buy from the Yen, Boosts or Chikara categories, you are given the option to keep the purchase or gift it to another player in the server. Choosing to gift shows a list of players; pick one, pay the Robux, and they receive the product. If the recipient leaves mid-transaction, the item goes to you instead. Since Yen rewards scale with Class, gifting Yen to a lower-Class friend is less efficient than gifting Chikara or Boosts.

Trade etiquette and value

Because the game’s economy revolves around stat multipliers and Champions, the most valuable trades are usually high-tier Champions that provide strong multipliers. Use our Champions tier list to gauge relative value so you do not give away a powerful unit for a weaker one. When negotiating:

  • Agree on the full terms before opening the trade window.
  • Confirm rarity and effects, not just names.
  • Decline anything that feels off — there will always be another trade.

Staying safe

  • Lock valuable Champions so they are never sold by accident; details in our PvP protection guide.
  • Disable trade requests in Settings when you are not trading, to avoid spam and bait offers.
  • Ignore off-platform deals. Any offer that requires trusting someone first, or moving the deal to Discord, is a red flag.
  • Verify the window every time. The in-game trade window is the only source of truth.

Trading is a great way to round out your build without grinding every Champion yourself — just approach each trade with patience and a clear sense of value.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I trade with another player?

Open the Champions menu and use the Trade button in the top-left corner to send a trade request to another player. Review both sides of the window carefully before confirming.

Can I gift Yen or Chikara to friends?

Yes. In the Store, when buying Yen, Boosts or Chikara, you can choose to gift the purchase to another player in the server instead of keeping it for yourself.

How do I avoid trade scams?

Never trust off-platform promises or 'trust trades'. Only confirm once both sides of the in-game trade window show exactly what you agreed to, and never feel rushed.
